EDWINA TAKES THIRD PLACE IN VALKENSWAARD GRAND PRIX

Edwina and Fellow Castlefield continued their good form at the LGCT of Valkenswaard last weekend, adding their second 5* Grand Prix podium finish since June this season.

With eight combinations making it to the jump-off in the Valkenswaard Grand Prix on Saturday, the challenge was immense. Edwina and Fellow Castlefield delivered a smooth and fast round crossing the finish line in 48.21 seconds. Sanne Thijssen cranked up the pressure and stopped the clock in 46.28 seconds to take the runner-up spot. Last to go, World Number One Daniel Deusser chased down sharp inside turns to claim the win by 2 seconds.
With another great result, Edwina jumps into the lead in the overall season standings with 214 points, while Peder Fredricson drops down to second.
The next stop on the calendar is the LGCT Hamburg, the 11th leg of the LGCT season.
