Valkenswaard United leads the way into tomorrow's GCL final in Šamorín

Eleven points separate the two leading GCL teams ahead of tomorrow's final showdown of the regular 2021 GCL season in Šamorín in Slovakia.
Edwina's team, Valkenswaard United, is still leading the way on 288 points, with Shanghai Swans sitting in second on 277 points.
Edwina and teammate Peder Fredricson finished on a total of 5 faults in yesterday's round one, but crucially ahead of Shanghai Swans. Valkenswaard, featuring Fredricson, Tops-Alexander and Germany’s Marcus Ehning, will secure the crown if they finish in the top three.

Sweden's Peder Fredricson and Britain's Ben Maher are set to battle it out for the Global Champions Tour (GCT) title as the season comes to a close in Šamorín. Fredricson is in a strong position heading into the season finale as he leads with 249 points ahead of Maher, who sits on 228. France's Olivier Robert and Edwina are fighting it out for the other spot on the podium as they sit on 232 and 223 points, respectively.
