The 2019 GC Prague Playoffs declared open

The spectacular 2019 GC Prague Playoffs have officially been declared open today.

Last year was historical for Edwina, as she became the first-ever
winner of the Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix! A real highlight of her career!
Speaking in today's press conference Edwina recollected the competition which had the crowds on their feet in excitement:
“It’s a great memory, one I’ll have forever and it’s definitely one of my greatest achievements ever. As a competitor it’s always nice to win amongst the best in the world, and the atmosphere here was completely incredible.”
This year also brings hope for a pole position, as Edwina's Global Champions League team, the St Tropez Pirates, finished as runners-up of the 2019 Global Champions League season, which means they are automatically qualified for the Semi-Final. Four St Tropex Pirates team riders are present in Prague in addition to Edwina: Pieter Devos, Dani G. Waldman & Olivier Robert.
Tomorrow’s first CSI5* competition will start at 15:00 local time with the GCL Super Cup Quarter finals starting at 20:00 local time. All the action will be streamed live on GC TV.
